Terms of Service

Welcome to Koranta. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Koranta website and services at koranta.vercel.app(the "Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Koranta is an online classifieds and advertising platform serving Botswana. It is operated by Grünex (Pty) Ltd(registration number 2025/552829/07) ("Grünex", "we", "us"). You can contact us at grunex2025@outlook.com.

2. What Koranta does

Koranta lets individuals and businesses post adverts ("ads" or "listings") for goods, services, property, jobs and similar, which other users can browse and respond to. Koranta is a venue for advertising only. We are not a party to, and are not involved in, any transaction between a buyer and a seller. We do not take any commission on sales.

3. Posting ads

You can post a free ad with or without an account. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and content of everything you post, including descriptions, prices, photos and your contact details. By posting, you confirm you have the right to sell or advertise the item or service and that the ad is truthful.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to post or do anything that:

• is false, misleading, fraudulent or a scam;
• advertises illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited goods or services;
• infringes another person's rights, or is offensive, abusive or unlawful;
• is spam, duplicated excessively, or posted in the wrong category;
• attempts to interfere with, misuse or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.

We may remove any ad and suspend any user that breaches these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.

5. Paid promotions

Posting is free. You may optionally pay to promote an ad (for example our Featured and Urgent placements) as set out on our Pricing page. Paid promotions are billed in South African Rand (ZAR) and processed securely by our payment provider, Paystack. Refunds for paid promotions are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Dealing with other users

You deal with other users at your own risk. We do not verify users, items, or the quality, safety or legality of anything advertised. We strongly recommend you meet in a public place, inspect goods before paying, and never send a deposit before you have seen what you are buying.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grünex is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform, from any ad, or from any dealing between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
